Call for EABC-ANUCES Fellowship Program Applications

The European Australian Business Council (EABC) is one of the most active and high profile peak business organisations in Australia. The EABC promotes a forum for business leaders to engage in high-level dialogue on economic and public policy issues with Australian and European political leaders, officials, diplomats and business delegations. The EABC-ANUCES Visiting Fellowship is a collaboration between the EABC and the Australian National University to develop and communicate research on trade investment and regulatory policy issues between Australia and the European Union.

EU in the Shadow of Asia? Changing Relationships between the EU and the Asia Pacific - Call for papers

The discussion on the emerging powers of Asia is well established. However, there have been few Asia Pacific platforms where academics can present their research into how the concept of the coming century being one which pivots around Asia impacts on Asia Pacific – EU relations. A growing emphasis on Asia as an economic and political powerhouse also has implications for how the EU deals with other regions and how other regions in turn align or realign their foreign policies.

11th PASCAL Conference - Cities Learning Together - Post-conference publications

Building on the RMIT European Union (EU) Centre’s industry networks, PASCAL’s extensive work around Learning Cities and in partnership with the host, Hong Kong Institute of Education, this global conference was unique in design being a practically-oriented dialogue between European Union and older OECD approaches and those of East Asia and other non-EU regions.

Interactive sessions were held on days 1 and 3, and opportunities for field investigations in Hong Kong took place on day 2. The conference focused on present and future action, mainly within local neighbourhoods in big cities, to build green, safe, healthy communities which are economically viable and sustainable.
