The role of HE in local and regional social and economic development - Brest, 29-31 October. Call for Papers. Deadline 25 June

The PASCAL International Observatory is pleased to announce its 10th annual conference: "The role of Higher Education in local and regional social and economic development", to be hosted at the Western Brittany University (UBO) from October 29-31, 2012, in Brest, France.

The conference will provide opportunities to discuss various sub topics such as local development in the context of an ageing population, Healthy Cities, Contribution from the University in a time of crisis, the role of higher education institutions in remote regions. Deadline for abstracts is Monday 25th June 2012  with notification to author(s) of acceptance by  Monday 9th July 2012. Tuesday 9th October 2012 is the deadline for the submission of full papers
