PURE Briefing Paper 19 Options for continuation in PURE in detail
This Briefing Paper follows from BP18 and describes in detail the options for continuation in PURE. Below are listed a number of options for the levels of continuation for existing PURE regions in 2011‐ 12 and beyond. These options may be stand‐alone or may be embedded into a subscription to PASCAL at regional level as part of (Options 1 and 2) or all of (Option 3) such a subscription. In the case of Options 1 and 2, the other elements of that subscription would be discussed individually with each region.
Option 1
For one year from 1 January 2011 at €5,000 1. Continuing Network membership and support from the Academic and Administrative directors; 2. Access to the Website and communications systems therein, and taking part in work facilitated there. This for example might involve facilitated engagement within existing and new clusters, and on subjects of special interest. It would also involve the posting of Good Practice Examples from their region on the site, and exchanging experience with others based on other examples posted there. Benefits and outcomes • Links for regions and their universities with high‐level dedicated experts within the core of Pascal to provide written and verbal advice in order to embed and develop previous developments within the region; Exchanges with peers in other regions and universities within clusters that facilitate transfer of practice, allowing improved models of engagement to be tested; The development of bilateral links around issues of broader interest.
